Sales of fresh Irish Langoustines rise

Sales of fresh Irish Langoustines rise to meet customer demand. 

Latest export figures have shown a strong rise indemand for fresh Irish langoustine in key markets. In volume terms there has been a 36% increase and 54% increase in value terms in the period covering January to July 2012 when compared with the same period in 2011. This increase is positive for the Irish fresh langoustine sector and shows an increasing demand and appreciation for this unique product.
